Sohaya Cuirass is a Medium Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Sohaya Cuirass Description
This body armor is composed of small scales are sewn together and reinforced with thick hide. The talisman on the breast plate serves to protect its wearer from yokai attacks.
Part of a set of armor worn by the Sohaya, a clan of yokai hunters. Shrouded in mystery, they remained separate from normal society, devoting themselves entirely to driving out demonic forces. They were believed to live in a remote settlement where they forged their own special weapons and equipment for combatting yokai.
