Suwa Myojin Helmet is a Medium Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.

Suwa Myojin Helmet Description

The beloved helm of Takeda Shingen. a celebrated warrior and daimyo during the Warring States period who was nicknamed the 'Tiger of Kar, Kai being the name given to present-day Yamanashi prefecture. This helmet is said to have been crafted by Myochin. a renowned armorer from Kamakura. The gray hair that flows from the helm's bowl is that of a yak, and was certainly imported. A mask bearing a demon's face adorns the front as though perching above the visor. The helm itself represents the deity Suwa Myojin who the Takeda family were long devotees of. It is said that when the head of the Takeda household dons this helmet he becomes a god, and only then can he enforce his rule. The difficulty in obtaining the imported materials used to manufacture this helmet made it a treasured possession of nurnerous daimyo, including Tokugawa leyasu.
