Swallowtail Helmet is a Medium Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Swallowtail Helmet Description
This is one of a family of helmets featuring fantastical designs. It is shaped like a swallow's tail. and the protrusions resemble two bold horns. Their shape was designed to strike tear into all who saw them. Part of a traditional armor set worn by the warlord Game Ujisato. who was born in Omi Province (present-day Ship prefecttre). Ujisato was discovered by Oda Nobunaga at a young age, and given an important position where he participated in various military campaigns across the country. He was given the baptismal name 'Leon" when he converted to Christianity. Under the orders of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, he was relocated to Aizu (present-day western Fukushima prefecture). where he fought against Date Masarruie, and died young due to illness. He learned the art of tea-making as one of Rikyu's top disciples.
