Tatenashi Helmet is a Heavy Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Tatenashi Helmet Description
A helmet that's part of a famed set of armour, the Genji Hachiryo, said to have been owned by the Genji clan. Long a family treasure of the Kai-Takeda clan, it is said that none who wore it into battle ever suffered a scratch. Indeed the Japanese name means 'no shield', meaning the wearer can safely go without a shield. A large helm of a traditional design, incorporating ten overlapping steel plates and fierce-looking gold ornamentation. The ornamental side-flanges are decorated with crests echoing those on the breastplate. It includes a protective facemask.
