Hide, I want you to draw your sword and come at me as if I were your greatest enemy. What's the mater! Don't look so bewildered! I only wish to know the full extent of the powers you possess as a shiftling. Come, there's no need to hold back.

The Demon King's Blade Walkthrough
A Duel against Lord Nobunaga
For this mission, you'll want to make further preparations first before starting. Prepare your magic, ninjutsu, and choose your best weapon and armor since you'll immediately find yourself at the boss arena where you'll fight against Oda Nobunaga. There are no shrines or any collectibles here such as Kodama, Sudama, Scampuss or locks, as well as the Dark Realm. The goal is to fight him and win the battle to complete this mission.
When you arrive, take advantage of him and shoot him on the head with your rifle. Doing so will cause him to fall on the ground allowing you to follow-up with a grapple attack while he's on the ground. Nobunaga is protected by the Guardian Spirit: Hyobishin which allows him to conjure four fireballs and that slowly follows you and temporarily increases his speed to release a blazing strike. Whenever he summons fireballs, focus on running around first until the projectiles land on the ground and until its clear shift your attention back to Nobunaga. Since you're fighting a human, the Kusarigama weapon works in your favor here since you can use the chain of the weapon to reel him in which knocks him off-balance allowing you to follow up with a few strikes. To learn more about this boss, you can click here or check our boss guide video below.
Once you've defeated him, he'll drop some items for you to loot. Speak to him and a short cinematic will trigger that shows a bit of his past. After the cutscene, you'll be possessed and obtain one of his Guardian Spirit: Tengen Kujaku - this completes the mission.
