The Rightful Eccentric is a Set in Nioh 2. The The Rightful Eccentric Set provides various special benefits to players: the more pieces you equip from one set, the stronger the bonuses. Some sets are comprised of armor only, but others have armor and weapons, making for sets that have up to 7 bonuses.

  In Way of the Nioh, Ethereal versions of the set will gain an additional bonus when you reach the final tier of bonuses, denoted as (X+ Items); see Set Bonuses for more details.

Notes & Builds

• Early game, the damage bonuses are above average but being locked to Strong Attacks only holds it back. Though some of the high stance strong attacks are very high in single hit damage (including the spears, naturally) most of them aren't the best for Damage per Second. This also boosts dodge attacks done with the strong attack button, but many of those attacks are actually very low in damage (Axe and Switchglaive especially).
• At endgame, it gains access to Versatility, one of the most powerful effects you can get. It is multiplicative with the strong attack damage. The ease of access to this set makes this a good and consistent starting point for any endgame build.
