The Roaming Artisan Walkthrough
Find Senji Toyo's Grandfather
The task of this mission is simple, track down Senji Toyo's grandfather and help him. Upon arriving at the ruins area, you'll first find the shrine for this mission. You will be facing yokai enemies here such as Aberrant Soldier, Spider, Yamanba, Wheelmonk, Gaki, Aberrant Soldier, and Koroka. Defeat the Waira within the yokai mist, open the large chest, clear the yokai within the area, head to the top of the ruins, open the stone door, and climb down the ladder and into the section of the cave where you'll find the second shrine.
From here, you'll want to pray at the second shrine before continuing forward. From the shrine, look and check behind and you'll see a Nurikabe yokai wall. Behind it, you'll find a corpse that you can loot to obtain Ruins Key and a hole that you can jump down into. But before you head there, make sure you kill the Nure-Onna below and open the large chest. This is also a good time to head back the Ruins (the building at the top of the massive set of stairs). The key will allow you open its door. Inside there's a yoki and a large chest. Once done, come back to the hole behind the Nurikabe, jump down into the hole and you'll encounter a Wheelmonk, kill it, then grab the Scampuss that's on the right side, behind a stone coffin.
After that's done, clear the cave area first before heading towards the highlighted direction on your radar. Eventually, you'll come across another stone door at the marked location and a dead-end. Here, you'll have to fight a group of yokai within the dark realm and defeat the Ippon-Datara. Simply kill all yokai and the Ippon-Datara to dispel the dark realm - once that's done, check behind the pillar of stone and you'll find Senji's grandfather sleeping, speak to him twice to complete the mission.
