Among those who visited Daigo to see the cherry blossoms, many sang songs and composed poetry showing their appreciation of the flowers and adorned the trees with the slips. There may be a hint there as to whether Lord Nagamasa's daughter is still alive and well. Could you go to Daigo Temple and take a look?

Scampuss Locations

• Found in the courtyard area of the mission which is the second section. Go around the courtyard and you'll find a building that is guarded by a Warrior Skeleton and a Karasu Tengu that spawns from the yokai mist. You'll find the Scampuss at the left side corner of the building's walkway.
• There are two that can be found inside the room that's on the right side of the second shrine inside the temple.

The Scented Letter Walkthrough

The Nine-Tailed Fox

Upon starting this mission, you'll first see the shrine at the starting point. As you enter the first section, you'll see the Nine Tails fox and you will need to follow it. An Ubume and Aberrant Soldier will first spawn once you proceed further. Next will be a Nure-Onna and another Aberrant Soldier, followed by a Flying Bolt and two Oni-bi. Killing the last three yokai will dispel the barrier that's blocking the entrance for the next section - you can pray at the first shrine before you proceed to replenish your elixir and health, it won't respawn the wave of yokai since you've already cleared the first section.

You'll see the fox again as you enter the second section and it will run away from you, prompting you to follow it. You'll now find yourself in a courtyard section. The first pair of yokai you will see are two Dweller on the left side that's around a corpse that you can loot. Basically, there are more yokai around the area, such as Dweller, Warrior Skeleton, and Tesso, so make sure you have enough ammo or arrows so that you can shoot them from afar. Before you head towards the marked objective, make sure to go around the area first to find loot from corpses and to farm for amrita and gold and some other items from killing the Yokai.

If you search around the courtyard, you'll come across a building where you'll encounter a Warrior Skeleton and a Karasu Tengu within the yokai mist that's guarding the building. Kill both yokai, check inside the building to find a large chest, then go around the walkway of it, you'll find the Scampuss on the left side corner. After grabbing the Scampuss, head towards the marked objective, fight through the same group of yokai you'll encounter until you find the second shrine inside the temple.

From the second shrine, there's a room on the right side where you'll find two Scampuss inside it. From here, simply follow the marker towards the highlighted destination that leads outside of the temple where you'll face another gauntlet of yokai enemies. First will be an Enki, an Aberrant Soldier, followed by a Yoki.

After killing the last Yokai, you'll find Nine Tails by the tree, simply approach it and it will drop a key item before disappearing. You'll obtain the Cherry Blossom Chapbook which completes this mission - this key item is required to unlock the sub mission: Yaksha Returns.
