Mission Start Text
Hiddy, I've got a job for you. While we've been busy engaging the Azai and Asakura forces there have been signs of movement from the east. The fearsome general Takeda Shingen, the "Tiger of Kai", is on maneuvers.
The forces of Tokugawa, a sworn ally of the Oda, attempted to engage him at Sanpogatake, but were completely obliterated.
Unfortunately, it seems that the hot-blooded Honda Tadakatsu hasn't returned from the battle.
Mission End Text
You have my utmost gratitude! Thanks your efforts I can continue to serve my master. I will never forget what you've done here today.
Still, the Azai and Asakura forces put up a far greater resistance to the Oda troops than I ever thought possible. Perhaps they too have fallen under the sway of that dark power... We must be careful!

The Tiger Approaches Walkthrough
Starting Point
For this mission, players will once again need to clear each section of Yokai before reaching the marked destination and objective of this mission. You'll find yourself on a cliff and just below you, you'll see the shrine. Luckily, if you clear one section, you can rest at the shrine without worrying about fighting the yokai in the section you've cleared - so every time you clear a section, rest at a shrine.
There's only one path here that leads to each area until you reach the marked destination. For the first section, two Aberrant Soldier yokai will appear, followed by a Warrior Skeleton. A Gaki and Enki will then appear and then another Warrior Skeleton along with a Mitsume Yazura, the Yazura and Skeleton will be the last group of Yokai for the first section. Kill it to clear the area and for you to continue to the second section - remember to rest at the shrine first before heading further.
For the second section, you'll come across a lake where you'll find Honda Tadakatsu fighting an Aberrant Soldier and a Rokurokubi. Help him kill the yokai, and after a few seconds, a large group of Gaki will appear. Try to invoke a friendly revenant NPC so that it can help with killing the Group since you're pretty much outnumbered. After the group of Gaki, another Rokurokubi and Enki will appear which is the last group of Yokai for this mission, focus on the Rokurokubi first to stop it from shooting poison projectiles at you. Killing the last two yokai will open up the next section - again, make sure to rest at the shrine first to heal up and replenish your elixir if you need to.
For the last section, the first two yokai that will appear is an Aberrant Soldier and another Mitsume Yazura. You'll want to kill the Aberrant Soldier first as quickly as you can because, after a short while, a Snowclops will appear and join the fight. The next group of yokai that will appear is another Rokurokubi, a Yamanba, and a Namahage. Do the same thing, kill the Rokurokubi first before the Namahage, and since you have Tadakatsu with you and assuming you have a friendly revenant fighting alongside, let them fight the Yamanba and Namahage up-close while you can poke the enemies with your magic or ninjutsu tools. After killing the last group of yokai, speak to Tadakatsu and he'll give you a Wooden Kannon Sculpture - this will also end the mission.
