Twisting Spear is one of the Spear Skills in Nioh2. Twisting Spear is an active skill that twirls your spear around and then perform a single powerful strike.

Twirls the spear around to gain momentum, then perform a single powerful strike.

Twisting Spear Notes
- This is the highest damage single-hitting Spear attack. It also has massive range, and will tumble human enemies when fully charged, meaning you can ground them with another attack if you catch up to them. The damage and range comes in three stages, based on when during the charging animation you release the button:
- Stage 1: Basically, immediately releasing the button will produce a weak thrust. This is less damage than a Mid stance strong attack.
- Stage 2: Releasing when the spear first reaches 90 degrees in it's revolution will produce a thrust with significantly more range than majority of spear attacks. The damage is doubled, putting it slightly lower than a High stance strong attack.
- Stage 3: Fully charging the attack will double it's damage again, and give it even ore range, making it one of the longest range melee attacks in the game.
