Warrior of the West Helmet is a Medium Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Warrior of the West Helmet Description
A helmet based on a modified foreign-style design, topped by a huge ornament evoking a gleaming full moon. The back is further decorated with a featheared plume. The moon ornament symbolizes the diving protection of the Bodhisattva Marici. It is part of a tradtional armor set once owned by the great Tachbana Muneshige, revered as the unrivaled champion warlord of the western reealms. Muneshige rose to fame fighting under the Otomo clan, and continued to rack up victories in Kyushu against the Shimazu, Kato, and Kuroda clans after joining Toyotomi Hideyoshi's forces, clad in this distinctive armor all the while.
