Yoriki Cuirass is a Heavy Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Yoriki Cuirass Description
A barrel-like cuirass made from riveted metal and coated with lacquer that has had iron rust mixed into it. Stripped of umecessary decorations, the armor has been crafted solely with durability in mind.
Part of a set of armor worn by samurai that carry out supportive roles. Yoriki were military commanders that served under specially designated powerful retainers close to the daimyo. It was common for them to take to the battlefield and command their forces on horseback, so their armor was made with equine combat in mind.
