Yoshiie's Birthright Cuirass is a Heavy Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.

Yoshiie's Birthright Cuirass Description

Chest armor made in a traditional style with left and right panels suspended over the breastpiece. The sleeves and tassets are made from black lacquer woven with white thread and emanate an aura of both grandeur and the sacrosanct.

It is part of one of the eight famous sets of armor of the Minamoto clan. It was presented to Minamoto no Yoshiie by his father on the occasion of his birth.
