Amago is a Clan in Nioh2. Players can pledge their allegiance to a Clan at the Hidden Teahouse to acquire passive Special Effects that affect all Characters linked to the account.

The Amago clan ruled over Izumo Province (modern-day Shimane prefecture), serving as deputy military governors for generations. The clan saw its influence expand greatly under the leadership of Tsunehisa, and when his grandson, Haruhisa, took over, the clan held control of eight provinces in the Chugoku region.

During his time as head of the clan, Tsunehis was at one point ousted from his position as deputy military governor for defying the orders of the Muromachi shogunate. Tsunehisa is believed to have employed a group of performers called the Hachiya, using their annually granted entrance to Gassan Toda castle on New Year's Day, to launch a surprise attack. After recapturing the castle, Tsunehisa was able to leverage this to reclaim his former position. It is said that Hachiya Yanosaburo, the head of the Hachiya, continued to serve under Tsunehisa's employ as a ninja.

The Amago crest is one of many that depict several dotted squares, a design derived from the dappled patern characteristic of the Kanoko cloth-dyeing technique. The crest was inherited from the Kyogoku clan, from which the Amago clan branched off.
