Demon Cutter is one of the Sword Weapons in Nioh 2. The Demon Cutter, like all swords, has a good balance between offense and defense, and is a good choice if you aren't sure what sort of Enemies you will be facing. Swords also scale very well with the Heart stat, so if your Build has high Heart, consider using this Weapon type.
Demon Cutter Description
One of the two famed blades created under the orders of inamoto no Mitsunaka, the foundr of the Tada Genji line of the Minamoto clan. The blade was passed down to his daughter, Yorimitsu, who later loaned it to one of her retainers, Watanabe no Tsuna.
One evening, on a bridge in the capital, a beautiful woman approached Tsuna. However, Tsuna saw through the disguise and used this blade to cleanly slice off the arm of the sly demon. From that moment onward, the sword took on its current name.
