A pair of fists imbued with the power to repel the impure. In Asia, where Buddhism spread widely, as it blooms remained unsullied despite growing in marshland and mires. This image is particularly strong for white lotuses, and so these fists have been modelled[sic] after them in order to heighten their purifying power.
