Piercing Rain is one of the Spear Skills in Nioh2. Piercing Rain is an active High stance skill that fiercly trhusts five times at the enemy by following up a combo.

Piercing Rain Description

Follows up a combo with a flurry of powerful blows, fiercely thrusting at the enemy five times. (High stance only).
Command: triangle button at end of combo.

• This is one of the higher damage attacks available to the spear, but it also leaves you open for an extended period of time and is extra committal as you need to do a High quick attack first. The majority of the damage is also in the last attack, meaning canceling it early with a Burst Counter or Yokai Ability losses you most of the damage. Caution should be used when deciding when to use this attack.
• This is the best attack the spear has for applying elements through the arcana custom active skills on it's own, frequently applying elements in one usage without any gear synergy.
• This is an excellent attack to apply paralysis with, as the entire attack will connect without removing the effect.
