Smithing Text: Moonprayer Armor is a Smithing Text in Nioh 2. Smithing Text: Moonprayer Armor allows you to craft Moonprayer Armor. Smithing Texts are rare and very valuable key items that allow the crafting of additional items at the blacksmith forge.
Talk to the Blacksmith after obtaining a text and you will permanently unlock the ability to craft the equipment detailed in the text. This unlock is only valid for that specific character.

AnonymousIs it certain that "the first enemy" (that is, the enemy Revenant you summon later as a part of the Mission) is the one that always drops this text? If so, what are the odds of it's dropping, roughly?

The first revenant in the mission does drop the text. It also has a much much smaller chance of dropping from the final boss. The drop chances go up the higher the ng cycle, it took me around 10 tries to get it with a full luck farming build on ng, probably a lot longer if you don't have that.
