Have you heard the rumors of the ghost that only appears under a crescent moon?

From what I've heard, it roams the terrain surrounding the capital. It's been seen on Mount Shigi in Yamato and now there's been a sighting of it at Ishiyama Hoganji.

It seems your fellow soldiers are too fearful to face the thing. Perhaps you should take a look for yourself.

I see. The ghost in question has been through quite an ordeal it seems.

Those words of prayer seem to be those of Yamanaka Yukimori, from the Amako clan.

Long ago, he joined forces with the Oda clan, desperate to restore the power of his clan. It seems that even in death, this desire has not left him. He truly is an example that all retainers should follow.

At least now, his prayers to the moon may finally be answered.

• Check the fishing docks behind one of the open houses. The Scampuss can be found by the debris near the docks.
• When walking on the roofs at the end ,where the yokai lamp is ,there is ladder.  Down this ladder in the hut with treasure box blocking the exit, there is a Scampuss .

A Prayer in the Moonlight Walkthrough

Locate the "Ghost"

Upon arriving, you'll first encounter a strong sword-wielding soldier ahead. It will start to buff its defenses and ki recovery first before it starts to attack you. After defeating him, make sure to loot the body that's hanging at the edge of the broken bridge. Now, to remove the barrier that's blocking the door, you'll want to invoke the spirit of Yamanaka Shikanosuke from its Benevolent Grave next to the door, you won't be needing any Ochoko Cup for this one. If you die while he lives, you can resummon him at the spot you fought him, but if he dies in battle, the grave will disappear.

You'll encounter a Rokurokubi in the next section. And in the dark realm that's ahead, there's an Aberrant Soldier, Gaki, Nure-Onna, Toxic Slime, and Onyudo. If you go through one of the open houses and check the backside where the fishing docks are, you can find the Scampuss resting by the debris that's near the docks. There is second Scampuss at the end of walkable roofs ,down the ladder in a hut with treasure box blocking the exit. All you need to do in order to complete this mission is to kill the Onyudo yokai.
