Imagawa Diehard is a Sub Mission in Nioh 2. This mission is recommended for level 23, has a level 4 difficulty, and features human enemies. It seems there are still some Imagawa clan loyalists at large withing the Oda's domain.
They may be plotting to kill Lord Nobunaga to avenge their fallen master, and of course, we can't let that happen.
Let's stop them before they cause any real trouble!

Imagawa Diehard Walkthrough
Players arrive at the starting area where you find the only Kodama shrine for this sub-mission. The area you'll arrive at is the same location where you completed the sub-missions The Forest Veiled in Darkness and The Greedy Hunter. Similar to the last two, there are no collectibles such as Kodama, Sudama, Scampuss, a Dark Realm or Locks, and the loot that you gain from killed enemies and corpses are random. The objective is to follow the marker of the mission's objective and kill the boss.
In this area, you'll encounter human enemies who are the remaining troops of the Imagawa clan. There are many soldiers here, so it's best that you summon a friend who can fight alongside you or offer some Ochoko Cup on a friendly Benevolent Grave to summon their spirit.
Boss Battle: Imagawa Yoshimoto
When you reach the marked objective, the boss you'll have to defeat in order to complete the mission is Imagawa Yoshimoto. His moves are similar when you faced him during the main mission The Hidden Monsters of Okehazama - successfully killing him completes the sub-mission and you'll obtain some loot as well.
