The Bravest of the Brave is a Sub Mission in Nioh 2. This mission is recommended for level 103, has a difficulty level of 2, and features both human and yokai enemies. The Bravest of the Brave tasks players with meeting Maeda Keiji and accompanying him in slaying yokai. This mission is unlocked after completing the Main Mission: The Golden Castle. Mission Start Text
A man named Maeda Keiji has been asking around for you and claims that Toshiie is his uncle. Could he be a friend of yours? He's running around and calling himself the "Knavest of the Knaves", whatever that means... Perhaps we should pay him a visit and see what's going on.

Some day, he may become stronger and more daring than even you. Then he can truly shoulder the title "Bravest of the Braves". He is definitely quite the character, though it seems there is something behind it all. I don't suppose you know what it is, do you?

Scampuss Locations
- Use the Jailer's Key to unlock one of the room in the first building after first wave of enemies. The Jailer key is found by dropping down through the roof of the same building. The roof can be reached by heading up a small ramp towards the ocean and kicking down a tree to create a path to the roof, where the Spa is located.
Spa Locations
- After defeating the first wave of enemies inside the cave, head up a small ramp towards the ocean and kick down a tree. Walk across the tree and the Spa is directly in front of you.

The Bravest of the Brave Walkthrough
The "Knavest of the Knaves"
Upon arriving, you'll first find the shrine. Ahead of it, you'll meet Maeda Keiji. Speak to him and he'll join you in hunting the yokai ahead. Simply follow the highlighted area and defeat the yokai enemies. Clear the first section where you'll encounter Warrior Skeleton, Aberrant Soldier, Mitsume Yazura, and a One-eyed Oni. Once you clear the first section, proceed to the next.
Before you reach the second section, you'll find the second shrine. In the second section, you'll fight another gauntlet of yokai such a Gaki, Waira, Yamanba, Aberrant Soldier, Yoki, Warrior Skeleton, and an Enki alongside a Koroka that spawn with the dark realm. Right after clearing the second section, Keiji challenges you to a duel.
Boss Battle: Maeda Keiji
If you're ready, speak to him to start the battle. You simply need to defeat him to complete this mission. This is one of the easiest bosses you'll encounter, using the Kusarigama for this battle will benefit you since you can reel him in to knock him off-balance and follow up with multiple strikes. Try to also imbue your weapon with poison so that you can inflict poison on him which slowly depletes his health.
