Mission Start Text

The truth is, I've been taking care of some of those adorable Scampuss yokai, but when I turned my back for just a second, they'd all wandered off. I don't suppose you could help me track them down, could you?

Mission End Text

It really wasn't comfortable in the belly of that yokai. But at least you managed to round up those scampusses. You have my thanks. But could I ask you a favor...? Please don't breathe a word about any of this to anyone.

  • Upon arriving at the starting point, check behind and you'll find it standing on a coconut.
  • Check behind the prison cell where the Scampuss is, you'll find a Kodama on the edge of a boat that's docked.

Stray Cats Walkthrough

Find the Scampusses

The goal for this mission is to find three Scampuss yokai which are highlighted on the radar. But before doing so, just a reminder that in order to unlock this mission, you'll need to meet two conditions:

  1. Complete the main mission:  The High-spirited Demon
  2. Find and pet 30 Scampuss yokai. In order for it to be counted, the Scampuss must disappear when its time is up. So you must pet it first and have it follow you until it disappears. This won't count if you die in the middle of the battle while the Scampuss is with you. You'll need to farm it by replaying a mission, pet the Scampuss, and re-run the mission until you reach 30x.

Now, two Scampuss can be easily found by just following the highlighted area on the radar. As for one of them, you'll need to find the Jailer's Key to open the door of the prison cell that the Scampuss is in. The key can be looted off of a corpse that can be found inside a prison building that's engulfed with the Dark Realm. Once you have recovered all three Scampuss, simply return to the starting point, make sure you pray at the shrine before you face the Onryoki.
