Benkei's Axe is one of the Axes in Nioh 2. This weapon works in conjunction with the Axe Skills skill tree, and usually has good scaling with the Stamina stat. It also scales with Strength and Courage. So if your Build has high Stamina, consider using this Weapon type.
Benkei's Axe Description
An axe once favored by Musashibo Benkei, Minmoto no Yoshitsune's most trusted retainer. Benkei is said to have honed its blade on a boulder before departing for the Battle of Ichi-no-Tani during the Genpei War. Benkei was a popular figure in the great Japanese war epics, and his loyalty and bravery earned him the adulation of many. The popularity of ostentatious weapons such as the axe and odachi during the Nanbokucho period may be due to his fervent following.
