Brave Demon Hunter's Waistguard is a Medium Leg Guards in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the Legs of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Brave Demon Hunter's Waistguard Description
Tassets made of vermillion lacquered platelets woven together with black thread offer protection to the hips. The front and back tassets are split in two at the center to allow the legs to move unhindered.
Part of a set of armor believed to have been worn by Watanabe no Tsuna, the most prominent of the powerful Four Guardians that served Minamoto no Yorimitsu. Tsuna was known for his courage and military prowess. The tale of him severing a demon's arm on a famous bridge in the capital is just one of many legends of his demon hunting skills.
