Heirloom Waistguard is a Heavy Leg Guards in Nioh 2. Leg Guards protects the Legs of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Heirloom Waistguard Description
This upper-leg protector features six-piece tassets to the front and rear with a large section of armor beneath each one. Its hefty appearnce serves to warn off potential attackers.
It is part of a set of armor passed down through the generations of a prominent military family. While the Warring States saw a dramatic expression in the mass production of armor, established warrior clans took pride in using their own armor which had been kept in the family.
