Demon Slayer Waistguard is a Medium Leg Guards in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the Legs of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Demon Slayer Waistguard Description
This waistguard features tassets that hang over the hips, layered over a large piece of thigh armor that extends down to the shin on the right side only. The thigh armor also has protective talismans affixed to it that provide extra resistance against yokai attacks. The numerous tassets that hnag down around thesides and back from a belt have blades attached to their tips, which can function as weapons when called for.
Part of a set armor worn by the legendary yokai hunter, Minamoto no Yorimitsu. Yorimitsu and her retainers, the Four Guardians, devoted themselves to maintaining peace in the capital, and as a result she occupied of the trust at the Imperial Court. This helped lay the ground for the subsequent prosperity of the Minamoto clan.
