Yoriki Waistguard is a Heavy Leg Guards in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the Legs of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Yoriki Waistguard Description
A waistguard consisting of tassets, made from multiple armor pieces laced together from top to bottom, worn over thigh armor. Protection to the lower back has been emphasized as that is usually where enemies on foot would aim when the wearer is fighting from atop a horse.
Part of a set of armor worn by samurai that carry out supportive roles. Yoriki were military commanders that served under specially designated powerful retainers close to the daimyo. It was common for them to take to the battlefield and command their forces on horseback, so their armor was made with equine combat in mind.
