Warrior of the East Waistguard is a Heavy Leg Guards in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the Legs of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Warrior of the East Waistguard Description
Armour with an upper leg portion featuring plates with dangling bear skin, offering similar durability to the cuirass while remaining lightweight. The ostentatious use of black lacquer and gold leaf creates a vivid contrast in the design. The Warrior of the East was the armor employed by Honda Tadakatsu, one of the four great Tokugawa commanders. As leyasu's right-hand man, Tadakatsu saw bitter combat on the battlefield, yet emerged without a scratch. He was dubbed the Warrior of the East by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Dark-colored scales laced with black dread forms the basis of the design, with gold embellishments in prominent positions radiating power.
