Exorcist's Gauntlets is a Medium Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Exorcist's Gauntlets Description
A simple pair of gauntlets, each featuring a curved iron plate that covers the area from the elbow down to the back of the hand. In order to facilitate the easy formation of sigils and handling of charms, the fingertips have been left exposed.
Part of a set of armor favored by those whose occupation is to drive away yokai and other evil spirits via spiritual and religious power. They use an amalgamation of methods taken from Shinto. Japanese mountain asceticism, esoteric Buddhism and many other soirees. While the effectiveness of their methods has been called into question, people that find themselves tormented by yokai and at their wit's end often turn to these exorcists for help.
