Warrior of the West Gauntlets is a Medium Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Warrior of the West Gauntlets Description
These gloves are asymmetrically designed. The left hand is armored in thick iron plate, while the right is lighter and thinner, leaving the fingers exposed to ease the handling of bows and other weapons. They are part of a traditional armor set once owned by the great Tachibana Muneshige, revered as the unrivaled champion warlord of the western realms. Muneshige rose to fame fighting under the Otomo clan, and continued to rack up victories in Kyushu against the Shimazu, Kato, and Kuroda clans after joining Toyotomi Hideyoshi's forces, clad in this distinctive armor all the while.
