Imakomei's Gauntlets is a Medium Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Imakomei's Gauntlets Description
A pair of leather, cylindrical gauntlets of simple design. They have been made without any iron in them in order to keep them light and easy to move in.
Part of a set of armor worn by Takenaka Hanbei. Hanbei had a brilliant strategic mind, which prompted Hideyoshi to go to great lengths to recruit him. Hanbei's alias Imakomei, which translates as The New Kongming", came about due to parallels drawn between him and Kongming, a great, Chinese military strategist of the Han dynasty.
