Hyuga Director's Waistguard is a Medium Leg Guards in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the Legs of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Hyuga Director's Waistguard Description
A simple set of tassets, composed of iron platelets sewn together. Foregoing thigh armor allows the wearer to offset the heavy weight of the matching cuirass.
Part of a set of armor said to have been used by Akechi Mitsuhide. The imperial court granted him a title of high standing, but he was more commonly referred to by his rank: director of the Hyuga provincial governors.
