Kohoku Master's Waistguard is a Medium Leg Guards in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the Legs of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Kohoku Master's Waistguard Description
This waistguard consists of tassets, strung together with dark blue string, covered with larger thigh armor that features similar lacing. While the iron armor platelets do add considerable weight, they are also strong enough to stop a bullet fired at close range.
Part of a set of armor worn by Azai Nagamasa. Even in his childhood, Nagamasa was renowned for his great bravery. When he came of age, he spearheaded the expansion of his clan, proving his military prowess on the battlefield. His actions drove the Azai clan's return to glory, once again cementing their position as the masters of Kohoku.
