Splitstaff Skills is a skill tree in Nioh 2. This skill tree focuses more on progressing the potency, mastery, and capabilities of using the Splitstaff weapon.

 

 

How to Acquire Splitstaff Skills

  • Splitstaff Skills are unlocked by spending Skill Points into the tree.
  • Splitstaff Skill Points are unlocked whenever you use the Splitstaff weapon to attack and kill enemies
  • Alternatively, players can consume certain items to obtain a Splitstaff Skill Point

Twin Phoenix Active Break the splitstaff into two parts and unleash powerful strikes. 1
Radiant Moon Active Use the splitstaff to leap into the air and strike the enemy from above. 1
Ebb and Flow Active Unleash two additional strikes after a Strong Attack, turn your back to face the enemy and then trust the splitstaff backwards. The version of this attack performed differs depending on whether you are in the High or Mid Stance, or in Lower Stance. 1
Law of Lethality Mystic Art Attacks that have their range extended when the button is held now deal greater damage. 1
Cornered Boar I Passive When your health drops to 30% or lower, the damage you receive is reduced by 15% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Cornered Board II Passive When your health drop to 30% or lower, the damage you receive is reduced by 10% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1

 Passive When your health drops to 30% or lower, the damage you receive is reduced by 5% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Twin Phoenix II Active Press Square after using Twin Phoenix to hit the enemy again with splitstaff 1
Twin Phoenix III Active Press Square after using Twin Phoenix II to swiftly stab at the enemy. 1
Dragon Dance Active Split the splitstaff into two and batter the enemy relentlessly. (High Stance Only)  1

Cornered Tiger I Passive When your health is below 30% , your melee damage will be increased by 15% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Cornered Tiger II Passive When your health is below 30%, your melee damage will be increased by 10% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Cornered Tiger III Passive When your health is below 30%, your melee damage will be increased by 5% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Dragon Dance II Active If your Ki reaches 0 when performin Dragon Dance, press square to assume a stance that will increase your attack power. (High Stance Only) 1
Five Dragons Kata I Passive Increases elemental damage of splitstaff attack by 4% 1
Five Dragons Kata II Passive Increases elemental damage of splitstaff attacks by 2% 1
Five Dragons Kata III Passive Increases elemental damage of splitstaff attacks by 2% 1
Seasaw Strike Active After performing a Quick Attack, strike again by spinning the splitstaff before delivering a final blow. (High Stance Only) 1
Full Moon Kata I Passive While in full health, your melee damage increases by 3% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Full Moon Kata II Passive While in full health, your melee damage increases by 2% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1

Unruly Revolution Active Strike the enemy while spinning your splitstaff. (High/Mid Stance Only) 1
Law of Largesse Mystic Art Attacks that are granted additional hits when the button is held now receive a higher number of addtional hits. 1
Melee Mastery: 1 Passive Melee Weapon Attack +2. (Learning a more advanced version of the same skill will replace the previous one.) 1
Shockstopper Active Break the splitstaff into two parts, using one half to guard against incoming blow while attacking with the other. . (Mid Stance Only) 1

Indomitable Spirit I Passive When your health drops to 30% or lower, your Ki recovery speed will be increased by 15% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Indomitable Spirit II Passive When your health drop to 30% or lower, your Ki recovery speed will be increased by 15% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Indomitable Spirit III Passive When your health drops to 30% or lower, your Ki Recovery speed will be increased by 5% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Three Wars Kata I  Passive  Reduces Ki damage received by 6% when using a splitstaff. 1
Three Wars Kata II Passive Reduces Ki damage received by 3% when using a splitstaff 1
Three Wars Kata III Passive Reduces Ki damage received by 3% when using a splitstaff 1
Deft Counter Active Perform a guard just before an incoming hit to shove the enemy away with your splitstaff, knocking them off balance (Mid Stance Only) 1
Relentless I Passive Maximum Ki increases by +30 when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Relentless II Passive Maximum Ki increases by +20 when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon 1
Relentless III Passive Maximum Ki increases by +10 when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Shin Crusher Active Follow up a Quick Attack with a strike to the enemy's skins. Deals heavy Ki damage. (Mid/Low Stance Only) 1
Shin Crusher II Active Press Triangle after performing Shin Crusher to perform a sideways strike. Timing this perfectly will allow you to unleash the strike even faster. (Mid/Low Stance Only) 1
Darting Cloud Active Evade an attack by using the splitstaff to leap in the direction inputted. Hold the button down to increase the distance of your jump. (Low Stance Only) 1

Side Splitter Active Sweep the splitstaff swiftly to the side. The version of this attack performed when the button is held differs depending on you stance. 1
Passage to the Afterlife I Passive Increases grapple damage by 4% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Passage to the Afterlife II Passive Increases grapple damage by 3% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Passage to the Afterlife III Passive Increases a grapple damage by 2% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1
Seven Stars Kata I Passive Increases melee damage from splitstaffs against enemies that have zero Ki or less by 4% 1
Seven Stars Kata II Passive Increase melee damage from splitstaffs against enemies that have zero Ki or less by 2% 1
Seven Stars Kata III Passive Increases melee damage from splitstaffs against enemies that have zero Ki or less by 2% 1
Fill the Void Active Thrust at the enemy and then withdraw backwards. 1
Shadow Strike I Passive Damage dealt to enemies from behind increases by 3% when you have a splitstaff equipped as your main weapon. 1

      Just got a skill drop for the Splitstaff from the duel mission against Benki. Its a charge-up skill called Roar Power, crazy range.
