Conqueror's Waistguard is a Medium Leg Guards in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the Legs of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Conqueror's Waistguard Description
Waist and thigh protection made by a Japanese artisan to match the upper body armor. Worn by Oda Nobunaga, this exemplified the kind of luxurious armor that a powerful warlord would favor. Nobunaga tried to unite the country under his rule but was betrayed by a retainer before he could attain his goal. His progressive strategy of protecting Western European missionaries and boosting trade would bring about one of the greatest turning points in Japanese history.
