Governor's Waistguard is a Heavy Leg Guards in Nioh 2. Leg Guards protect the Legs of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Governor's Waistguard Description
This piece of armor features skirt-like tassets and impressive decorative use of black lacquer and gold leave. Its overall air of grandeur amply reflects the stature of its owner.
It is part of a set armor believed to have been used by a mighty local governor during the Muromachi period. These governors were sent by the central authority to exercise absloute power over the unruly provinces.
