Demon Horde Cuirass is a Heavy Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Demon Horde Cuirass Description
A cuirass using a two plate design and a vermilion lacquer finish. The embossing of the front plate mimics the muscular physique of a demon, while the back plate recreates the contours of the spine and back muscles with startling detail. When covered with a battle surcoat, one could easily mistake this armour for the torso of a real demon.
