Sohaya Garb Shawl is a Light Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Light Armor, lowers your equipment load, making you move faster and Dodge more easily. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Sohaya Garb Shawl Description
This simple shawl is made of a long piece of thick black cloth tied with a cord. The talisman on the breast plate serves to protect its wearer from attack by yokai.
It is part of a set of clothing worn by the Sohaya, a special unit of yokai hunters. Shrouded in mystery, these troops remained separate from normal society, devoting themselves entirely to driving out demonic spirits. They were believed to live in a remote settlement where they forged their own special weapons and equipment for combating yokai.
