Gallant Helmet is a Medium Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Gallant Helmet Description
A helmet featuring lengths of silver fur as well as long, horn-like protrusions on either side. It conjures up the image of a demon. The wild hair was not only for decorative purposes. This set of armor was worn by Ishida Mitsunari, who served as an advisor to Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Mitsuri loyally supported the Toyotomi even after Hideyoshi's death, and wore this armor during the Battle of Sekigahara, which would turn out to be Mitsunari's final battle.
