Tigerskin Helmet is a Heavy Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Tigerskin Helmet Description
A sturdy studded helmet of considerable weight The face of a tiger bearing its teeth is inscribed beneath the large horn plume. It is part of a set of heavy armor said to have once belonged to the mythical figure, Acala. It was bestowed upon Taka-no-Sadxnori by the Imperial Court, and has been a great treasure of the Taira clan ever since. When the Taira clan was wiped out at Dan-no-lira, this armor was believed to have disappeared.
