Kingo's Cuirass is a Medium Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Kingo's Cuirass Description
Upper body armor painted with black lacquer. It features a throat protector decorated with gold inspired by western armor. This set of armor was worn by Kobayakawa Hideaki who went by the pseudonym Kingo. He was the nephew-in-the-law and for a brief time the adopted son of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, before he became a member of the Kobayakawa family. A somewhat tragic figure, a relative of Hideyoshi's. However, he was pushed aside when Hideoyori was born into the Toyotomi family.
