Conqueror's Cuirass is a Medium Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Conqueror's Cuirass Description
Upper body Nanban-style armor originally brought over from Europe and then refashioned within Japan. Made from a thick iron plate, it is adorned with an elaborate embossment on the front and back. Worn by Oda Nobunaga, this exemplified the kind of luxurious armor that a powerful warlord would favor. Nobunaga tried to unite the country under his rule but was betrayed by a retainer before he could attain his goal. His progressive strategy of protecting Western European missionaries and boosting trade would bring about one of the greatest turning points in Japanese history.
