Tiger of Higo's Cuirass is a Medium Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Tiger of Higo's Cuirass Description
This cuirass is made in the unusual 'exposed shoulder' style, with a plate moulded to resemble a half-exposed torso on one side. The 'naked body' part of the armour has had a flesh coloured lacquer applied to it in an attempt to make it look even more realistic.
Part of a set of modern armourn worn by Kato Kiyomasa, a brave warrior also known as one of the Seven Spears of Shizugatake for his remarkable display of talent during the great battle that transpired there. Other tales of his courage often reference his fondness for tiger hunting, and his numerous victories earned him both possession of Higo Province and his alias 'The Tiger of Higo'.
