Eccentric's Cuirass is a Medium Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Eccentric's Cuirass Description
This chest armor is distinctive for its purple threading and bright vermillion lacquer. The shoulder protector on its right side is made of the same lacquer and the striking sleeve beneath is made of small armored scales threaded together. The left shoulder is decorated by tiger pelt, a favorite of Maede's.
This is part of a set of armor belonging to Maeda Keiji, a famed samurai from the Warring States period who was known for his eccentric character.
