Hyuga Director's Helmet is a Medium Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Hyuga Director's Helmet Description
An unique helmet, designed to mimic the shape of the elongated hats commonly worn by nobles. The crescent moon shaped decortation is adorned with the Akechi family crest, which depicts a Japanese bellflower.
Part of a set of armor said to have been used by Akechic Mitsuhide. The imperial court granted him a title of high standing, but he was more commonly referred to by his rank: director of the Hyuga provincial governors.
