Kohoku Master's Cuirass is a Medium Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Kohoku Master's Cuirass Description
A sturdy cuirass of archaic design, covered with an indigo dyed battle sircoat. Tortoiseshell patterns can be seen in various places on the armor, hawing from the Azai family crest, which consisted of thee tortoiseshells with flowers blooming on them.
Part of a set of armor worn by Azai Nagamasa. Even in his childhood, Nagamasa was renowned for his great bravery. When he came of age, he spearheaded the expansion of his clan, proving his military prowess on the battlefield. His actions drove the Azai clan's return to glory, once again cementing their position as the masters of Kohoku.
