Child of the Sun's Helmet is a Heavy Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Child of the Sun's Helmet Description
A helmet in the style of a Tang dynasty crown adorned in the rear with the leaf of an iris, a flower revered by warriros. Its shape is meant to intimidate all who lay eyes on it. Part of a traditional armour set said to have belonged to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who, after starting out as a poor villager, ascended to the position of shogun and eventually came to rule over the entire country, earning himself the title of the Unifier of the Warring States. Hideyoshi, who had previously served as a retainer to the Oda clan, dominated the competition for the top position after Nobunaga's death, and his victory led to him being called the Child of the Sun. The full set of armour includes an extravagant tabard beloved of Hideyoshi.

- Occasionally Dropped by Otakemaru in Main Mission: In the Eye of the Beholder.
