Noble Dung Ball is a Usable Item in Nioh 2. Usable Items are categorized as consumables which can be used to gain various buffs and effects that benefit in and out of battle, these items can be obtained in various ways, such as rewards from completing Missions, dropped by EnemiesBosses, randomly looted at various locations, or found inside chests.

 

Noble Dung Ball Information

Excrement harvested from aristocrats, normally used as high quality fertilizer. Use it on an enemy to lower the effect of any medicines they use, and also drastically lower their guard.

 

Noble Dung Ball Effect

  • A throwable item that does minimal damage, but a chunk of Ki damage if it hits, as well as accumulates Stench on the target.
  • The stench effect is only useful against Humans that use elixir, but this item can be used to deal Ki damage from afar.
  • Required to get the Horned Turban and Coiled Snake helmet Smithing Texts from Bird in a Cage. Noble Dung Balls count for 5 normal ones.

      If given to a Sudama, they will attack you with a strong elemental attack. For me, it was a lightning attack. Don't know if it is always a lightning attack or random though.

        Is there a difference between giving either regular dung balls or noble dung balls to the hungry soldier NPC in the Bird in a Cage mission ?
