Book of Reincarnation is a Usable Item in Nioh 2. Usable Items are categorized as consumables which can be used to gain various buffs and effects that benefit in and out of battle, these items can be obtained in various ways, such as rewards from completing Missions, dropped by Enemies, Bosses, randomly looted at various locations, or found inside chests.
Book of Reincarnation Information
A text detailing the secrets of life, death, and rebirth that lets you reassign your Amrita and Skill Points. However, using it will reset your level and skills. It cannot be used during a mission
Book of Reincarnation Effect
- An item to use to be able to reset levels and skills.
- You can also reset your Skills at the Dojo for a sum of gold.
- To use the item, access your inventory from the trackpad menu and go to usable items.
- If you sent the item to your Storehouse: In the map screen, go to starting point, and select > hut > storehouse. Press L3 to swap view to stored items, then select the book under items.
Book of Reincarnation Location & Where to Find
- Found as a reward for the Main Mission: In the Eye of the Beholder.
- Found as a reward for the Training Mission: The Way of the Adept: Novice
- Found as a reward for the Sub Mission: The Point of No Return
- Obtained as a reward for completing the Sub Mission: Abduction
- Sold by Blacksmith for 10,000 gold. Price increases each purchase.
- First purchase: 10,000
- Second purchase: 30,000
- Third purchase: 100,000
- Fourth purchase: 300,000
- Fifth purchase and thereafter: 1,000,000
- Can be purchased using Glory at the Hidden Teahouse
Anonymous1st purchase: 10,000 gold
2nd purchase: 30,000 gold
3rd purchase: 100,000 gold
4th purchase: 300,000 gold
5th purchase: 1,000,000 gold
Every purchase after is also 1,000,000 gold
You can carry a max of 10
Purchasing 10 will easily get you to max level with Toyo. You will have about 20 levels extra with her by your 10th.

You can't get rid of them outside of using the dumb things. They're the best money sink Toyo has to offer and I'm already drowning in them because Sudamas apparently think I need to reset my skills

Go to the starting point on the map. Choose Hut. Choose Store House. Press L3 button on ps4 (this is the toggle run button in most games, not sure for pc/xbox) to switch to your inventory. Select the Book of Reincarnation and you will finally be able to F-ing use it.
So I was using this thing until I notice that my lightning omamori's main skill (which is lightning resist) is un-locked and free for me to replace it with any other ability, so now I can customize that one omamori with other effects. Is this some sort of bug? my game version is 1.27.02.
