Onmyo Magic Item
Lifeseal Talisman is a Usable Item in Nioh 2. This item reduces the Ki recovery speed of the target
Lifeseal Talisman Information
"These are Magical Items that reduce the enemy's ability to recover KI.
This Onmyo Charm is used to invoke magic which blocks the flow of Ki."
Lifeseal Talisman Effect
- You shoot a fast moving talisman forward. If it hits, it places a powerful Reduced Ki Recovery Speed effect on the target.
- Against Yokai this has limited use, as they only regenerate Ki in Yokai Realm pools and the dark realm, which means it does nothing for you otherwise. However, Yokai bosses will automatically enter the dark realm at some point, and this item makes it easier to empty their temporary Ki gauge with melee attacks since this all but stops their Ki recovery, allowing you to save your Anima to drain their maximum Ki, or Confuse them while their maximum Ki is high for an extended period of high DPS.
- Against Humans, this is one of the most powerful effects you can use on them. Once you drain their Ki while this effect is active, they cease being an offensive threat, allowing you to attack them for as long as you can for free. This also lets you back off freely against Bosses that punish you or otherwise prevent you from attacking them for an extended period of time, like Saito Toshimitsu, as it removes the main penalty to disengaging, being their Ki recovery speed. This effect will also stack with the Reduced Ki Recovery Speed effect that you place on Human enemies that you Burst Counter, as well with Confusion's effect the lower Ki recovery speed.
